European Central Question Bank (ECQB) is a 10,000-question question bank used by all EASE member states for flight crew theoretical exams. The flight crew we are talking about are professional aircraft, helicopter pilots and instrument flight authorization candidates.

The questions consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ). MCQ also consists of two parts. Part describing the question or problem, part part consisting of a set of keywords that might be the best answer to the question.It is a test that tests whether European level pilots have sufficient knowledge and competencies.The question bank today is under the responsibility of EASA.

The question bank is of great help to the candidates who want to become a pilot. The EASA European Central Question Bank (ECQB) Process

As of January 2015, the institution has been implementing a new European Central Question Bank (ECQB) process in order to continuously improve the quality of the questions and ensure that they remain compatible with the developing technology. The aim is to replace the questions in the question bank with new and updated questions. According to this process, questions are prepared by external experts. Subject matter experts commissioned by national aviation authorities through cooperation with member states review new and current questions posed by external experts. It is also expected that the questions will be compatible with the curriculum. Besides final approval, further review is carried out by EASE. It is planned to update all questions in accordance with the PART-FCL Learning Objectives section by the end of 2022.

A special rulemaking task (RMT.0595) has been initiated to update the timeliness and relevance of syllabus, LOs and examination procedures for the Instrument Rating (IR), Commercial Pilot License (CPL), and Air Transport Pilot License (ATPL).

Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) and security of the question bank The European Central Question Bank (ECQB) is an asset of great importance to aviation security.All institutions and individuals involved in the process must ensure that the question bank is kept confidential and that the intellectual property rights of its owners are respected. All breachs brought to the attention of EASA or Member States will be enquired. and enforcement measures.Both the external experts who update the questions and the people who review the questions are aware of the security and security of the questions.
